As a manufacturer of aircraft fabric and aircraft finishes, Superflite is an integral part of the aircraft refinishing business. Superflite has been producing quality aircraft fabric and aircraft finishing materials since 1949. We provide the classic butyrate dope aircraft covering & finish system (System I), and we are also the originators of the all-urethane aircraft covering & aircraft finish system (System VI). Superflite manufactures all of its own aircraft fabric and aircraft finishes or aircraft topcoats. All of the Superflite aircraft fabric covering products are FAA-approved, and we have STCs available for most fabric covered aircraft. Aircraft owners and aircraft restoration shops around the world have long been familiar with Superflite's fine reputation for quality aircraft refinishing products, customer service, and technical support.

Aircraft Engine Enamels:

Superflite is a leading manufacturer of fast drying engine enamels. The Superflite engine enamel was developed specifically for air cooled engines used in the light duty aviation industries. Superflite enamels feature superior adhesion, high gloss finish, and heat resistance. Available in quarts and aerosol cans. Colors: Continental Gold, Lycoming Grey, Gloss Black.

Airport Quality Windsocks:

Superflite's windsocks comply with all FAA and State Aeronautical Commission specifications. Made from high strength vinyl-impregnated nylon fabric. All seams are double stitched, and the grommets are made of the highest grade. The windsocks are durable and resistant to abrasion, water, most oils and chemicals, grease, rot, and mildew. The Superflight bright orange windsocks are great for hospitals, chemical plants and refineries, heli-pads, offshore oil rigs, and, of course, airports. All windsocks come in a blazing fluorscent orange color.

The Superflite windsock frames are made of welded steel for strength and painted for corrosion resistance. Includes two-inch ball bearings for smooth and easy movement. The frames are mounted to a 1" diameter support pipe threaded to fit a 3/4" size pipe or conduit. The windsock frames are available in three different types - standard, extended, and extended lighted.
