- ALWAYS apply the Dacproofer (nitrate) with a brush or roller.  This pushes the the Dacproofer into the fabric, allowing it to better soak into the weave.  - Surface tapes can either be applied with adhesive or 125 Clear Dope.  The choice is yours.  - The SpraFil (silver coat) needs to be sprayed, not brushed, on.  Spraying eliminates a lot of sanding work for you.  - After the Dacproofer, an option two coats of 125 Clear Dope can be applied to help better fill the weave of the fabric.  - To bring out more of a gloss in the Tinted Butyrate Topcoat, use the 132 Retarding Thinner.
