    Shipping Information

Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are not automatically calculated by the Online Order Form.  Because shipping charges are dependent upon the method of shipping and based on the size and weight of your order after packing, we are unable to give you a shipping cost prior to you submitting your order.  Please note that you may incur additional handling charges based on the products you order or the method of shipping you choose.  If you select COD as your method of payment, you will incur an additional $10 charge.  If you order materials classified as hazardous, you will incur an additional $20 per box charge.  Only the metal prep items (ie - aluminum cleaner & conditioner) are classified as HAZMAT.  All other chemicals can be shipped ORMD without any HAZMAT fees.  All of the wet goods ship out of Texas, and all of the dry goods ship out of Illinois.  If you order dry goods and wet goods together, you will receive two shipments, and you will have to pay two shipping charges.  All fabric orders over 5 yards will be shipped on a six-foot tube in a box.  Extra shipping charges will be incurred because of dimensional weights.

COD Shipping
Customers are able to order COD but are subject to applicable UPS COD charges (currently $10 per shipment) plus regular shipping charges.  If an item has to be drop-shipped, such as the LP windows or the Axis spray products, COD will not be an acceptable form of payment.  All orders over $100 will be COD Certified Check unless prior approval is obtained.
Shortages & Damages
Open and examine all packages promptly.  Notify Superflite of any discrepancies in the order.  All shortages and damaged shipments must be reported within 7 days of receipt of the order.

Truck Freight
If the merchandise is receiped in damaged condition or the carrier fails to deliver the entire shipment as shown on the Bill of Lading covering motor freight delivery, make note of the damage or shortage on the Bill of Lading and ask the driver to sign it.  Then call the terminal office of the carrier and institute a claim for the loss or damage.

If a package delivered by UPS arrived damaged, report it to the driver immediately.  Inspect contents and notify Superflite within 24 hours of receipt.

Alaska & Hawaii
Although a part of the US, because product does get on an airplane (UPS Ground or not), special shipping is required to send Superflite products to Alaska or Hawaii.  As a result, shipping to these states is quite expensive.  To justify shipping costs, it is generally best to purchase a complete kit.  Otherwise, Superflite does have distributors, and it might be most cost effective to purchase through one.
International Shipping
Superflite currently does not ship any chemicals overseas.  All System I and System VI products have to be shipped via freight forwarder, arranged by the customer.  Additional packaging charges may be incurred.
Chemicals and dry goods are currently housed in two separate locations.  If an order is placed for wet goods & dry goods, two separate shipments will be sent, and two separate shipping charges will be incurred.
